Thanksgiving 2011

This Thanksgiving we have much to be grateful for. Our little family thanks God everyday for all of the blessings in our life. We are especially grateful for the people in our lives. Our everday life is sweeter because of the people in it, especially our family. We headed to Leakey to celebrate the holiday. Here are some of the highlights!

A Cedar tree dried with the summer drought and fell over. Jaden declared this tree his tree house. He spent alot of his time in this tree. He also wore a racoon hat almost the entire time we were in Leakey. I gues he wanted to be one with nature.

Halloween 2011

Ok, for some reason I took the worst Halloween pictures ever. My first mistake was that I only took a few. Here they are, I'll do better next year!

Our neighborhood is perfect for trick or treating. The boys had a great time.

Happy 60th Birthday Grandpa!

What a great weekend we had. We went to Galveston for the weekend to celebrate Grandpa Bibler's 60Th birthday. The whole family was there and we enjoyed every minute of our time together. These pictures are going to start at the end and work backwards because I always forget that blogger works backwards. One of these days I will get the hang of uploading pictures in the correct order. So, we ended our weekend at Joe's Crab shack for an early dinner on Sunday. We chose Joe's because it was on the seawall, so it had a beautiful ocean view, it had a playground for the kids, and tvs for football.

Here is Grandpa getting ready to dance at Joe's. The waitress told him to hold the salt and pepper shaker and then shake everything but the shakers. He was a great sport!
On Sunday afternoon, we took the kids to Moody Gardens for their trick or treating. Here they are in their costumes. So cute!

I thought it was so cute that Brody was just like every other boy watching football.

Josh's parent were sweet enough ( or brave enough) to watch all four kiddos so that us big kids could go to the strand for a few hours and have some adult fun.

On Saturday morning we took family photos. We hired a professional and will get the photos back in a few weeks. I will make sure and post them. I am hoping for at least a few good shots. I also took a few with my camera. It was a little cold on Saturday, but that did not stop my boys from running straight into the ocean fully clothed. They love water!

They have a cool park play scape in Galveston that we took the kids to.

We are so very thankful to have such a wonderful family that we have so much fun with. I know that it is one of God's greatest blessings. We hope you had a wonderful birthday Grandpa! We love you!
