When you are stuck at home on a rainy weekend with an energic (to say the least) toddler, and a teething baby, you have to get creative in your entertaining. Normally we spend ALOT of time outside running around, going to the park, playing in the sprinkler, watering plants, kicking balls, etc. Not being able to go outside is disappointing for all of us, but we Thank God for all the wonderful rain. So here is what we did:
We played race around the house
We rocked out!
We rocked out some more!
We played with playdough (and painted and colored)
We played dress up! (I wonder if this is what Brody' s hair would look like if we would not have cut it :)
And we went to The Kloesel's for Renee's 32nd birthday party. So the kids got to play with other kids inside of someone elses house. Over all it was a great way to spend a wet weekend. And my yard is so green from all of the rain, it is awesome!
