Bunny Love

I just happened to look out the front door earlier and saw this sweet little baby bunny on our porch.  Baby bunnies are the cutest little things.  My dad use to catch bunnies for me when I was little and I always adored him for that.  My mom probably was not as fond of the whole thing since I recall at least once letting a bunny loose in the house and it being stuck behind the fridge.
So I called the boys over to see our sweet bunny.  They wanted me to catch him so I summed the country girl in me and caught the bunny. Except we kept the bunny outside.  He was very sweet and we all cuddled him.

He was probably scared to death, but we let him go back to his home in our bushes after about 5 minutes.  And then we left him carrots and lettuce treats.  We actually saw another baby bunny in the bushes when we put him back, so apparently there is a bunny family in the bushes.  We also have bunnies in the backyard.  So cute!

Fun around the house

I saw this cool idea on pinterest.  If you are not on pinterest yet, you are missing out!  Pinterest is a fun website where  your friends share fun ideas, cool home decor, recipes etc....  So I saw one that was titled 20 things to do with little boys at home.  I think I was sold immediately.  This was one of the 20 things.

All you need is baking soda, vinegar, food color, and syringes

Mix the food color with some vinegar and squeeze it onto the baking soda

What you get are little explosions that kept the boys entertained for a good 30 minutes, and they requested to do it again, so I call that a winner!  The pictures don't show the coolness factor the boys liked, the fizzing and such.  So the really great thing is that baking soda and vinegar clean drains, so when they were finished I dumped it down the kitchen sink and it cleaned the drain.  Now that is a winner for me!

Easter 2012

After church we hunted eggs in the backyard

The Easter bunny hid eggs all over the place

even on the trampoline

This was Brody's face when we counted eggs and Jaden had more than him

Hope you had a wonderful Easter!  We like hunting eggs and eating chocolate bunnies at our house, but the best thing about Easter is Jesus!  He is Risen!

Spring Break 2012

We spent spring break in Leaky again this year. The weather was great most of the time and we even went swimming. Well, Jaden went swimming and the rest of us got our feet wet. I just love Leakey and I am so glad the we get to spend so much time there. Here are some picture highlights.
Grandma & Jaden
Papa & Brody
We spent time at Aunt Kathy's house and Brody loved digging and playing in her rock beds.
Jaden loved playing with Kathy's dogs.
Go ahead Bear, relax a little
We roasted marshmallows
Brody's marshmallows never got roasted because this was as close as he would get to the fire.

This is the view from the porch at the new house. Isn't it gorgeous.
Hope your spring break was as great as ours.

Houston Fun

Last weekend my family headed to Houston to meet the newest member of the Webb family, sweet baby Addison Elizabeth. While we were there we decided to pack as many activities into one small weekend as we possibly could. Here is our weekend in pictures.
For some odd reason, Jaden and Brody both wanted to play with the baby excersaucer. They outgrew theirs years ago, and wanted nothing to do with them, but we visit Ryder and both of my boys think it is the coolest thing since sliced bread. Who cares that they barely fit in them or that Jaden spent a full five minutes squeezing himself in and out of it. Silly boys.

Here is our new sweet Addison. She is such a beautiful baby and we all love her so much. Even the boys wanted to be around her.
She was wearing the most adorable outfit :)
Brody was sharing secrets with Ryder, you know cause he is the older one of those two, which if you knew Brody is probably how he would prefer things, or actually he would probably rather be an only child with lots of friends and cousins
The Boys
Grandma & Grandpa B took the boys to the Natural Science Center where there were actual dinosaur bones.

There was lots to see and do at the museum.

How cool would it be to love dinosaurs and then get to see them in person for the first time. One of my favorite things about being a mommy is seeing the awe moments my kids have.
We also spent an evening with Josh's good friend Ryan and had such a great time. The museum is suppose to have more dinosaurs this summer, so I see another Houston trip in our near future.

Stars Hockey Game

A few weeks ago we loaded up and went to a Stars Hockey game at the Cedar Park Center. I wasn't sure how the boys would do at a 7:00 game considering the time is close to their bed time and I wasn't sure they would want to sit in their seats and watch the game, but they did great! I am sure the fact the we gave them lemonade and cotton candy didn't hurt their excitement.
They wanted to see the ice upclose

The game was fun! I am sure we have many more games in our future!
